CCFMG is dedicated to quality medical education as well as patient care. All CCFMG physicians have faculty appointments with the prestigious University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine. The UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program is a clinical branch of UCSF, School of Medicine. The Program gives our faculty physicians access to the latest medical advances and teaching techniques. There are close to 400 physicians, mid-level providers and administrative staff that make CCFMG what it is today. Our philosophy focuses are based on the foundation of accountability for our actions and enjoyment of our profession.

Our mission allows us to have a meaningful impact on the direction of medicine in California’s Central Valley. With strong community affiliations and an extensive network of resources, CCFMG physicians are able to teach and work in a wide range of facilities and medical settings. These facilities include:

The primary education facility is the academic hospital - Community Regional Medical Center. Community Regional offers access to innovative and cutting-edge technologies and services such as:

• CyberKnife
• da Vinci^® Surgical System
• 52-bed Neuroscience Floor
• Level 1 Table Mountain Rancheria Trauma Center
• Leon S. Peters Burn Center

Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) not only has state-of-the-art technologies and services, but also leading research projects in many areas including an NIH-funded Insulin Resistance in Ischemic Stroke Study, treatments for COPD and many more.
